**Benefits of joining us as a Care/Support Worker**

We are looking for motivated, creative and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our Circle of Support at Bonhomie Oaklands Park in Redhill, Surrey. You will be working with individuals with long-standing mental health conditions in a Recovery Focused Programme, to support their progression along personal recovery pathways and help them to reach their full potential.

**Your responsibilities**

As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring that service users’ physical, personal, psychological, spiritual and cultural needs are met, whilst promoting personal and physical independence and choice.
- Helping with the admission of new service users, including helping them to settle in, introducing them to other people and listing of their property and clothing.
- Reading care files to be aware of individual needs and writing reports in case notes, as required.
- Assisting in providing activities and stimulation within the care home. Assisting and attending when outings are arranged.

**Requirements**:
We ask for a positive attitude, good communication skills and the ability to work within a growing team. Relevant training will be provided. Do keep in mind that the client group you will be working are individuals with long-standing mental health conditions. Experience in this area is not essential, but is welcome.

Pay: £11.85-£12.25 per hour
