**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a varied programme of activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families to understand individual preferences and needs.
- Facilitate group activities such as arts and crafts, games, music sessions, and outings.
- Monitor resident participation and engagement in activities, adapting programmes as necessary.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure that activities are suitable for residents with specific care needs.
- Maintain accurate records of activity participation and feedback from residents.
- Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations within the care home environment.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a similar role within a nursing home or senior care setting is highly desirable.
- A background in dementia care or working with individuals requiring assisted living support is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are essential to effectively engage with residents and their families.
- A caring attitude towards elderly individuals and a passion for enhancing their quality of life through meaningful activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to initiate new ideas for resident engagement.
