**Role Purpose**

As part of the Indirect Business Operational Readiness Team the Principal Consultant will not only be the prime Technical lead for the Indirect Business but will also lead and drive a team of Solution Architects and Senior Technical Advisors in the Indirect Business Technical Advisory team (IBTA) to achieve the objectives of the Indirect Business.

**What will you be doing?**

The Principal Consultant would:

- Lead, manage and coach the IBTA team.
- Act as Technical Design Authority for the Indirect Business
- Assist with new product definition and support for the Indirect Business
- Process creation and enhancement for the IBTA Front door
- Bespoke BID support (RFI, RFP etc)
- Bespoke technical requests and support

As the Principal Consultant you will be responsible for day-to-day management of a team of 0 - 10 people. You will also be required to manage your time appropriately to enable support of Solution Architecture activities which will vary from time to time to continue to provide Technical Design support for the Indirect Business

- Experience of working as a Solution Architect in the Enterprise Services business
- Understands the culture of Pre-Sales / Solution Design Architects
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance and resolve conflicts of interest.
- Provides and maintains clear goals and objectives
- Ability to work across multi-functional and cultural boundaries to deliver services and change
- Excellent communications skills
- Line management experience

**Desired**
- Professional qualifications in an engineering discipline OR equivalent industry experience
