We are a growing company, that has recently added two brands to its portfolio of products, hence we are now seeking an experienced **Supply Chain Planner**to join our growing team. As a **Supply Chain Planner** you will be accountable for the efficient and effective planning and movement of stock from our suppliers to our warehouses, to meet both business needs and consumer demand. You will also be responsible for managing all associated processes and supplier in-bound logistics relationships and reviewing, evaluating and improving Supply Chain work flow processes and procedures.
**Main responsibilities**:
- Proactively work with category managers on initial stock allocation for new products.
- Actively monitor stock levels on a daily basis
- Use forecasting framework to make decisions about stock re-ordering.
- Provide information and reporting as required to commercial finance on stock levels, reordering and future forecasting.
- Place orders for stock.
- Raise purchase orders
- Review open orders and maintain accurate stock delivery date information
- Maintain regular contact with suppliers and container firms regarding inbound stock and ensure that supplier delivery dates are met as promised
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to schedule goods to delivery
- Maintain a smooth and manageable flow of goods into the warehouse
- Identify any address any inbound stock issues by working with suppliers, transport firms, warehouse team or others to resolve.
- Regularly meet with or have update calls with suppliers to review their performance against SLA for delivery metrics
- Actively seek out new ways of working to improve our service and proposition.
**What we’re looking for from you**:
- Experienced of working with various different tasks and balancing workload based on priorities
- At least a basic user of Excel
- Organised, and can manage lots of data whilst maintaining accuracy
- Excellent communication skills in order to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to use initiative to solve any supplier issues or customer disputes
- You must be able to use your own judgment to make decisions quickly
This varied role will enable you to **gain valuable experience** in a **growing company**, therefore, this is a key position and pivotal to the success of our business. Please note our **main HQ is in Gloucester**.
