We have an excellent opportunity available for a motivated Preparation Technician to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Direct.

We are looking for an individual who can provide technical and specialist knowledge gained from either an independent garage, fast fit or MOT centre who wants to go to the next level.

The role of the Preparation Technician is a key productive role in the Mercedes-Benz Direct process. Working as part of the workshop team you will be central to the preparation centre process ensuring that cars are mechanically inspected and repaired ona daily basis in line with Sytner standards.

As a Preparation Technician you will carry out vehicle preparations on used vehicles in order to feed them through to sale from one of our 17 Main dealerships located across the UK. You will be expected to work efficiently and play an important role in helpingto ensure that the vehicle is moved through the stages of preparing, testing, repairing and quality checking.

**About you
You must be a qualified Vehicle Technician with a formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent qualification).

Ideally, you will have the ability to work within given timescales and the ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing. Diagnostic skills and experience in problem-solving are not essential but are desirable.
