**Job Title: Cleaning Operative**

**Job Type**: Full-Time/Part-Time

**Salary**: £12.21- £12.51 per hour/year

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **General Cleaning**: Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas including offices, restrooms, and communal spaces.
- **Sanitization**: Ensure high-touch surfaces (e.g., door handles, light switches) are sanitized regularly to prevent the spread of germs.
- **Waste Management**: Empty and dispose of waste and recycling, ensuring bins are clean and correctly sorted.
- **Stock Management**: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed, reporting any shortages to the supervisor.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Use cleaning equipment and materials properly and report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
- **Health and Safety**: Follow all health and safety regulations, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- **Reporting Issues**: Inform the supervisor of any damage or maintenance issues observed during cleaning tasks.
- **Special Tasks**: Perform additional cleaning duties as requested by the supervisor or management.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- **Skills**: Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks efficiently.
- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and materials, and to work on your feet for extended periods.
- **Reliability**: Punctual, trustworthy, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- **Communication**: Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required.
