Role Overview and Responsibilities:
**Introduction**

An integral role to support the cleaning of our site in Barnstaple.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Cleaning production areas as per schedules with the ability to provide ad-hoc services where required (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, etc.)
- Clean factory/office buildings by emptying rubbish bins, servicing toilets, and wiping down communal surfaces.
- Using machinery to clean production area floors.
- Conduct deep cleans when required.
- Support the Cleaning Lead and Maintenance Lead as required.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

**ore Requirements**
- Demonstrate safe behaviour at all times, and ensure yourself and others in your working areas are safe and not exposed to significant risk
- Proven working experience as a cleaner.
- Ability to carry out work safely at all times and follow risk assessments, work procedures and COSHH assessments.
- Ability to handle equipment and machinery.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use.
- Confident to work alone and as part of a team.
- Diligent with an eye for detail to maintain our facilities to a high standard.
- Able to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist the Cleaning Lead and Maintenance Lead to comply with regulatory HSE requirements including sustainability targets.
- You may be required from time to time to undertake such other duties as the company may reasonably require.

**Desireable Skills and Experience**
- Experience of using floor cleaning/polishing machinery
- Computer literate using Microsoft Teams, Word and Excel
