Do you have policy experience, and are you seeking a new job in London? If so, we'd love to hear from you Murray McIntosh is looking for a dedicated and skilled Policy Officer to join our client, who are a leading educational and medical body.

As their very first dedicated Policy Officer, you will play a key role in further developing their policy positions and influencing the organisation's work, focusing on key policy matters within disease such clinical virology and antimicrobial awareness, both of which have grown in cognizance since the beginning of the pandemic.

In your first few weeks in this Policy Officer role, you can expect to:

- Develop policy positions, briefings and influencing plans
- Create detailed, engaging and accessible policy documents, materials, reports and briefings to influence policy change
- Develop influencing plans to support the organisation's policy positions
- Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders to understand the implications of policy proposals, identifying benefits and risks
