Electric City is a leading Lighting Design and Electrical Wholesaler established 30 years ago in Harrow, Middlesex. Our business deals with both, private and trade customers and we are currently recruiting for a Sales Assistant / Lighting Showroom Consultant.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a a Sales Assistant / Lighting Showroom Consultant you will absolutely represent our brand and vision delivering friendly customer service. You will support our customers in finding the ideal products for their homes; it’s about understanding their needs, their home, and their lifestyle, then recommending the right products for them.
To be successful as a Sales Assistant / Lighting Showroom Consultant for us you must enjoy working in a team environment, maximizing sales opportunities and supporting customers with their products choices.

ABOUT YOU
- You will ideally have previous work experience in sales/ customer service
- Customer focused approach
- Highly numerate with the ability to use IT systems including, Word & Excel
- Exceptional telephone skills with a professional and confident communication style
- Strong spelling and grammar skills
- Reliable, punctual, and possessing well-developed planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a team or alone
- Ability to think on your feet and resolve any issues that may arise
- Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent attention to detail

JOB DUTIES

The main point of contact for any lighting enquiries
Processing sales orders and liaising with customers
Working on Pricing specifications and quotations
Order execution, delivery notes, billing, and invoice production
Stock management in coordination with the warehouse
Maintain an Inspiring Lighting Display in our Showroom
Liaise with suppliers to rectify any stock discrepancies and place orders
Manage invoicing and credit notes effectively

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £16,089.00-£29,933.00 per year

- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:

- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
