**The role**:
**To find and place students with suitable work placements for their courses, providing support throughout the process.**
- Part time (22 hours per week)
- Term time (36 weeks per annum)
- Permanent
- £12,093 - £13,165 per annum
- Gorseinon Campus, Swansea
**Key Responsibilities**:
- To provide one to one student support and skills assessment at placements and settings through pre-arranged visits.
- To continually review and update procedure and systems for placement tracking and monitoring.
- To undertake monitoring, vetting and risk assessments as required.
- Keeping abreast of and contributing to curriculum development and innovations affecting work placement and skills development.
**About you**:
- Level 3 qualification in the area of Health and Social Care/Childcare
- 5 GCSE passes (grades A-C) including Maths and English or equivalent
- Knowledge of work placement monitoring and vetting or prepared to undertake training in this area
- Ability to work well under own initiative, working confidently with the team and independently
