Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel, a striking Grade II listed iconic building in the vibrant Spinningfields District, offers 148 stylish hotel rooms and suites with modern amenities. The V&A is the home to Chop & Plant our casual drinking and dining destination, offering a blend of Chop House classics and plant-based dishes with a focus on local produce and sustainability. We have flexible event spaces, including outdoor terrace, small boardrooms and banqueting for up to 200 people.

**What you will be doing**:
Meet & greet all guests - be their first, and final, interaction with the hotel

Assist guests with all taxi, restaurant and ad-hoc requests during their stay

Familiarise yourself with regular guests and ensure that they are always acknowledged

Perform porterage duties for guests, on both arrival and departure

Ensure that the lobby area is always kept clean and presentable

Responsible for the cleanliness of the front entrance and exterior of the hotel

Assist in VIP amenities, when necessary, alongside guest services and reception

**What we are looking for**

A warm and genuine individual who enjoys putting people first

An individual who constantly looks at ways to improve and enhance the guest experience

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Good knowledge of Manchester’s restaurants, bars and areas of interest

Flexibility to work in line with the needs and demands of the business

Someone who wants to grow and develop within the company
