**Scope**:
This is a permanent contract at 240 hours per month on a rolling 4 days 3 nights 4 off/ 3 days 4 nights 3 off shift pattern
The post holder (SIA Door and CCTV license) will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day security requirements at a strategically important site, maintaining a corporate image and high standards of professionalism.
**Primary Function**:
To provide effective 24/7 monitoring of the EICC CCTV and life safety systems within the Security Control suite. These include, Fire Warning and Detection system, Disability Toilet Alarms, and Staff assistance alarms contained within staff radios. Manage staff allocation of personal radios and provide a single point of radio contact. Assist in supporting Loading bay operations to allow safe, secure, efficient and timeous delivery of all items transiting through this busy area.
**Responsible for:
Effective 24hour monitoring of CCTV and EICC life safety systems in accordance with both current legal and moral responsibilities and in keeping with the EICC CCTV Policy and standard operating procedures.
- Providing a positive security deterrent through a combination of proactive and reactive use of the CCTV systems.
- Manage the allocation and monitor the professional use of EICC radios whilst providing a single point of contact for users.
- Manage out of hours telephone enquiries for the EICC.
- Provide assistance to the Loading Bay Security Officer in managing deliveries and collections while maintaining a high level of overall security in and around the Loading Bays and surrounding area.
- Undertake out of hours building security and safety patrols and checks.

**Key Selection Criteria**:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- SIA and CCTV operator licence
- HSE Approved Emergency First Aider (or willing to work towards it)
- Loading Bay Banksman trained (or willing to work towards it)
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong and proactive team player who is willing to be flexible with their time to meet the needs of the business and our clients
- Good organisational and strong administrative skills
- Competent IT skills
