**The Team**

Working as part of both the UK organization and the wider EMEA Supply Chain organization, this role sits within the UK Supply Chain team based at our UK Office located at the Porter Building, Slough, Berkshire.

**Job Description**:
**The Opportunity**

To provide premium customer service and be a key interface between Mattel and specific retail customer(s).

Key Result Areas:

- First point of contact for customer supply chain queries and improvements.
- Management of domestic orders to customer requirements and monthly sales targets
- Liaison with customers regarding orders, delivery status & availability information.
- Liaison with other departments to fulfill duties
- Investigation and resolution of claims

**What Your Impact Will Be**:

- First point of contact for customer supply chain queries and improvements. Seasonal and ad hoc visits to understand retailer’s critical paths and ensure we are working towards their objectives, including KPI’s. Participation in retailer’s improvement initiatives and cost-saving opportunities.
- Management of Domestic orders to customer requirements and monthly sales targets. Daily allocation & release to fulfill customer orders on time and in full.
- Proactive and timely liaison with customers regarding orders, delivery status & availability information. Detailed knowledge of retailer’s procedures, process & systems. Weekly and ad hoc calls, preparing availability reports, and completing order status reports.
- Effective and timely liaison with other departments to fulfill duties, especially inventory allocator, sales, customer finance, distribution centre, DHL Transport Management, Regional Order Processing & Rework team and planning. For example, ensuring relevant paperwork is in hand for price exception approvals, advising DC of customers’ delivery requirements, participate in sales team meetings to address problems and resolve issues
- Accurate and timely investigation and resolution of claims. Ensure debits raised by the retailers are investigated, credited and escalated as appropriate.

**Qualifications**:
**What We’re Looking For**:
**_ Educational background:_***

Educated to A Level (or equal) standard will be considered.

**_ Professional experience:_***

Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar, seasonal fast-paced manufacturing/distribution organization or alternatively retailing. Broader supply chain experience in logistics/planning would be beneficial.

**_ Technical competencies:_**
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office), Intermediate Excel such as Vlookup and Pivot tables & PowerPoint
- Numerate with accurate data entry
- Detailed record keeping skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Preferably AS400 experience
- Experience of involvement / leading change projects internally or externally beneficial
- Strong organization skills with emphasis on prioritization and urgency
- Occasional travel to Customer Sites
