IT Desktop

**Sodexo BRS UK is seeking an IT Desktop & Service Support, on an initial 12 month fixed term contract, to join at an exciting time in our evolution. We are in a period of transformation and modernisation and seek someone with drive and energy to support a key area of our business.**

**THE JOB ROLE**

The IT Desktop & Service Support will provide IT Support to all levels of the Sodexo BRS UK Business, building and providing technical support of hardware, installing and configuring varied software whilst continually learning about and advising on current IT tools within the business.

In managing their own workload within JIRA Service Desk Tool, escalating tickets where needed to other parts of the IT Department, along with mentoring junior team members, the successful individual will become a key part of the support team

**Profile**
- Provide 1st/2nd Line desktop support to the end user environment.
- Build and configure laptops/desktops.
- Installation and configuration of Software packages.
- Respond on JIRA tickets with required SLA’s.
- Manage and regularly update micro projects.
- Support our ISO27001 programme, delivery, related initiatives and continual improvement process activity

**Essential Skills**
- Strong communication and collaborative skills at all levels
- Excellent English and written/oral skills
- A minimum of 2 years previous experience in an IT support role.
- Delivery Focused with excellent organisational skills.
- Extensive knowledge of MS office 365, inclusive of SharePoint, Teams & OneDrive.
- Ability to follow instruction and process documentation to the letter, as well as contribute to the development and writing of process documentation
- Mobile Phone Support, Android and iOS.
- Knowledge of information, data and compliance risks / services desired
- Knowledge of IT security practices, processes & polices
