**About the role**
As a Content Creator working for Studio Nova, you will be involved in and support various design and marketing projects from concept to completion. Working under the direction of management or a senior designer, you will create engaging content and designs according to requirements.
You will understand how to work to a customer brief, research, prepare and develop messaging to maximise audience engagement, while capturing the strategy and objectives of the brand and the needs of the customer you are representing.
This role would suit someone looking to develop a career in design and marketing, who is competent in conversing with potential and existing clients. Within this exciting role, you will be joining our established team, working with other designers, developers and creatives. This role will see you working on a variety of projects for clients in a wide variety of sectors.

**About the apprenticeship course**
The apprenticeship is delivered over 15 months. Learning features a digitally led blend of seminars, high quality coaching from a content production expert and learning resources. The broad purpose of the course is to develop and create written and audio-visual content. By the end of the apprenticeship, you will be able to competently develop and create content for use across a variety of media, including digital, social media, video, broadcast and print.
A content creator works to a brief. They research, prepare and develop the messaging to maximise audience engagement. They capture the strategy and objectives of the brand and needs of the client. The content they create can be used as part of media, advertising, websites and marketing campaigns. An interest in technology and creating content is a must. They are required to keep up to date with new technologies, platform developments and consumer trends.
In their daily work, an employee in this occupation interacts with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders throughout the end-to-end content creation process. Typically, they are likely to interact with clients, marketing and digital teams, production teams, budget holders, contributors and end users.
An employee in this occupation will be responsible for delivering high quality content on time and on budget that meets the brief. They need to be aware of any legal and regulatory framework and take this into account throughout the content development process. Ethical considerations and wider organisational policies would also need to be considered.

**Job responsibilities**
- Plan and develop creative content in line with the brief and budget/costs.
- Interpret the strategy and objectives of the brand and align these to the content.
- Research, prepare and develop the media messaging to maximise audience engagement.
- Develop and create written content that can be used across a variety of media.
- Work with the latest content platforms, e.g WordPress, MailChimp and many more.
- Create imagery and assets using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Manage day-to-day website updates to support marketing campaigns, seasonal changeovers and business updates.
- Create visual and audio content that can be used across a variety of media.
- Store content securely and methodically to enable efficient access and retrieval
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to plan and align content delivery with business objectives.
- Manage content online using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the content produced against the original plan and recommend improvements.
- Undertake continuous professional development to keep up to date with trends and technology.
**Minimum Requirements**
**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:
- Previous web/graphic design experience is desirable. On-the-job training will be provided.
**Knowledge/Skills**:
- Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite - preferably Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Knowledge of WordPress
- Knowledge of Google tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Ads etc)
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation
- Familiar with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
