**PERSONAL INJURY LITIGATION ASSISTANT**

A superb opportunity has arisen for a personal injury paralegal which is required by this top 200 UK law firm to provide support to fee earners on claimant personal injury work out of its office in Manchester city centre. This role could potentially leadto a training contract.

**Role Overview**

You will be joining one of the best claimant personal injury departments in the North West dealing with litigated personal injury work. You will provide support to experienced lawyers/fee earners and your duties will include but are not limited to:

- drafting of client and witness statements
- preparing instructions to medical experts and counsel
- preparing court documents
- reviewing and collating medical records
- reviewing medical reports
- researching case law on liability and quantum
- liaising with clients and updating on case progress

The firm is seeking a paralegal fee earner with the following experience/characteristics:

- Ideally someone with previous experience gained working in a claimant personal injury team and keen to continue developing in this area of work.
- Strong academic achievements
- Ideally you will have litigation experience
- IT literate and able to work as part of a team and work on a delegated basis.
