Jewellery Sales

Job Overview:
Boutique Bijou is a start-up jewellery shop specialising in fine jewellery, including silver, gold and gemstones.

We offer all jewellery services from bespoke design & remodelling work to repairs and re-sizing. We also buy second-hand gold.

We are looking for someone to support our management team as a Jewellery Retail Assistant in our Cirencester retail shop & with our online shop. We would love for someone to buy into the brand that we’re seeking to build and expect the role to grow as the company expands.

**About the Job**

Our in-store experience is integral to our brand.

Our new team member will assist Maryam & Angelina with:

- day-to-day running of our retail shop in Cirencester
- high level of client customer service
- sales of high-value jewellery
- handling cash
- taking in jobs, repairs etc
- daily administrative tasks
- carrying out basic jewellery repairs and benchwork
- marketing, including the monthly newsletter
- booking clients in for bespoke and repair appointments
- and generally performing a support role in the running of the business
- someone who would be keen to work with us to build the Bijou brand
- knowledge of the jewellery trade and industry
- outgoing and engaging with customers
- marketing and sales skills, especially content creation and social media skills
- experience of working in a retail environment with stock control
- willingness to take on responsibility e.g. running the shop yourself on individual days
- Ability to carry out basic bench work.
- Flexible to work part-time, including weekends as needed.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £6,240.00-£15,600.00 per year

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
