We are recruiting to fill the of **Support Project Worker** in our supported accommodation based in **Newcastle upon Tyne.**You will join us on a**full time, permanent basis** and in return you will receive a competitive salary of** £20,200 Per Annum** Plus Pension and Other Benefits.

Depaul is one of the biggest homelessness charities in the UK, for more than 30 years we’ve worked alongside young people facing homelessness. We offer accommodation, practical support and the wellbeing resources that the people we work with need to getback on their feet.

**The** **Support Project Worker** **Role:**

As Support Project Worker, you will manage a small caseload of young people by taking responsibility for their well-being and day to day support in the service. This will involve running group sessions and other key activities within the supported accommodationto help them progress towards independence.

In addition, you will ensure the accommodation is properly maintained and take an active role in the upkeep of the physical spaces of the accommodation.

Upon offer, your job title shall be referred to as Progression Coach.

You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.
- Experience of using Risk Assessments and Support Planning.
- Experience of operating safeguarding requirements and procedures
- Ability to lone work and deal with challenging situations.
