**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming phone calls, booking appointments and ensuring a compassionate approach while maintaining proper phone etiquette.
- Managing referrals to secondary care and NHS organisations.
- Maintain an organised filing and coding system for patient documents and records.
- Support the team with clerical duties including typing correspondence and completing tasks.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming at all times.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in an administrative or receptionist role is desirable.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team within an office environment.
- A good understanding of general clerical duties and office procedures.
- A familiarisation with SystmOne would be advantageous.
- A kind and understanding approach while communicating with patients.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £22,392.00-£23,400.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 - 37.5 per week
