Barnardo's Surrey Neurodevelopmental Services are a partner of Surrey Mindworks. One of our services, Surrey Positive Parenting provides support to parents/carers whose children are aged 6-18 years who are in receipt of, or who are awaiting a diagnosis of, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

The service delivers upskilling programmes to groups of parents across the county of Surrey in outreach community venues and online via Zoom. The service does not have direct contact with the children/young people as direct support is given to them by other services within Barnardo's and within other partners across Mindworks.

Although some of this role is home based, our office location is our Surrey Wellbeing Hub in Leatherhead. Mileage claims can be made from this address. Team days and Training opportunities are offered at this location as well as sometimes using Barnardo's Family Centres.

We have two vacancies for role.

Vacancy One: Tuesday-Thursday including attendance at our Thursday Evening group either online or in person.
Vacancy Two: Wednesday-Friday including attendance atour Thursday Evening group either online or in person.

There might be possibilities for flexible working when we have colleagues off rota or in training. We can sometimes offer overtime or Time off In Lieu for different hours worked. This is not part of the contract and is at managers discretion and offered to all colleagues fairly. There may also be opportunities to shadow and support our other services within our Mindworks contract.
