**Base Location: Birmingham campus and some work from home**

To support student enquiries to the Careers Service, signposting students to suitable information resources or best-placed advisor, ensuring that the Service and employability activities are resourced effectively. Deliver 1:1 information and guidance that is appropriate to the scope of this role and to promote the services on offer.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support students completing internships by managing the administration of the Advance Practice programme
- Help students to access and make the best use of careers resources, using effective listening and questioning skills in order to accurately diagnose each student’s need;
- Analyse and interpret student data, producing monthly reports for the Head of Careers
- Where appropriate, encourage students to attend specific workshops or a 1:1 appointment with a Careers Advisor based on their careers/employability requirement, managing the booking system to ensure workshops and appointments are resourced effectively

**Experience/ Skills**:

- Knowledge of graduate recruitment trends and local employment opportunities. A qualification in information and guidance will be an advantage, though opportunities for training will be provided.
- Experience of working in a higher education setting in a Careers and Employability Service or within graduate recruitment.
