**Technical Author**
Our client, a leading engineering company located in Co. Tyrone are in search of an experienced **Technical Author** to join their well established team.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Responsible for ensuring the technical department is kept up to date with all relevant national and international compliance standards
- Using software to produce accurate, safety conscious and user-friendly drawings and operator instructions
- Ensure drawings are accurate and that design files are accurate and up to date
- Liaising with other departments within the company when and as necessary
- Ensure technical compliance with all current and future statutory obligations, industry and international standards and country specific specifications
- Produce, issue and revise end user technical publications
- Manage communication with all key departments and company stakeholders.
- Source and collaborate with external suppliers
- Work directly with customers and suppliers
- Relevant engineering qualification/degree with previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
- Excellent written skills in English
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Omagh District: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
