Traffic Marshall

**Overview**
The Traffic Marshall plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians within designated areas. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage traffic flow, communicate clearly with drivers and pedestrians, and maintain a safe environment at all times. The Traffic Marshall will be responsible for directing traffic, monitoring site conditions, and responding to any incidents that may arise.

**Duties**
- Direct and manage the flow of traffic in a safe and orderly manner.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and pedestrians to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Monitor site conditions and identify potential hazards that could affect traffic safety.
- Maintain clear visibility at all times to ensure that all vehicles and pedestrians can see and understand directions given.
- Report any incidents or accidents to the appropriate authorities promptly.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of traffic control equipment as required.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations during peak traffic times.

**Qualifications**
- Proven ability to drive safely and responsibly in various conditions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively relay information and instructions.
- Experience in managing groups or directing activities is preferred.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond quickly to changing situations.
- A keen eye for detail to maintain safety standards at all times.
- Previous experience as a Traffic Marshall or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
