**Job Summary**

To support the Senior Management Accountant and Finance Business Partner in the overall financial management of your collaborative. To include budget, forecasting and review of the accounts to ensure they are accurate and meet Trust reporting deadlines andstatutory/regulatory requirements. May require collation of data relevant to your centre to ensure month end accounting processes can be performed. To support the provision of contract management within the Centre. To enable your Finance Business Partner tosupport and advise on strategic and operational decision-making through provision of data and analysis to drive better business performance, and have the ability to provide this direct to the centre with mínimal supervision or review.

**Job Duties**
- Performs detailed review of the accounting of the Centre’s month end position. Includes collation of data or changes required from the centre to be shared with the transaction processing team to ensure accurate month end accounting.
- Produce accurate monthly forecasting in collaboration with budget holders with mínimal supervision or review, provide challenge to improve outcomes using financial and centre knowledge. Produce statistical analysis to understand true exceptions.
- Produce or interrogate data to support your FBP to approve spend and resource. Perform and/or review controls and reconciliations within your centre and adhere to central controls.
- Provide financial data to be part of business cases and other development or reconfiguration proposals with mínimal supervision or review. Perform profitability analysis on existing services, and analyse historic data to assist your FBP/Senior ManagementAccountant/clinical stakeholders monitor productivity and advise/decide on appropriate courses of action to improve.
- Produce monthly reporting, run governance processes and work with the centre to reforecast benefits (inc. escalation of risk of delivery) to ensure your centre, and Trust, achieves or exceeds its target.
- Use PLICS and other data, working with the centre, to identify clinical variances and other opportunities to increase productivity.
- Use of financial, centre and systems knowledge to improve financial literacy and responsibility of the centre workforce

**Qualifications**
- Degree or equivalent level
- AAT Qualified or equivalent qualification
