The role:

- The successfulCategory Analyst will provide category insights and data analysis to the wonder commercial and marketing team to support category thinking.
- The Category Analyst will make recommendations for category plans and will support thinking around own brand development and NPD
- Using insights the Category Analyst will make recommendations to improve category performance and contribute to the category planning process.
- The Category analyst will provide short, medium and long term analysis of market trends and performance with recommended next steps
- Using their fantastic excel skills the Category Analyst will provide analytical reports and presentations highlighting opportunities for growth.
- The Category Analyst will ensure high levels of integrity anc consistency with the date and will identify areas of improvement.
- You will have a proven track record of category analysis gained from either a category or buying role gained from the retail or FMCG sector.
- In the role the Category Analyst will be able to demonstrate a high degree of competency on manipulating data to produce reports.
- Having excellent communication skills you will be able to communicate and influence at all levels internally and externally and will have excellent presenting skills
- You will have excellent planning and organization skills and will be able to work independently on your own initiative, a self-starter with can-do attitude
- It is essential to have strong analytical skills along with good written, verbal communication and influencing skills, including confident and credible presenting
- High level Powerpoint and Excel skills - with strong attention to detail
