Nursery Cook

As a Cook, you will be responsible for the nursery kitchen and preparation area. Your **duties**include:

- Preparing and cooking well-balanced, nutritious meals for children aged 0 to 4years
- Adapting meals to suit allergies and cultural beliefs
- Monitoring food stock levels and ensuring that supplies are replenished as needed
- Ensuring that food is cooked and served in a timely manner
- Cleaning and clearing the kitchen and preparation area after cooking
- Collaborating with Nursery Management and staff to prepare and alter menus according to individual needs
- Ensuring all safer food better business requirements are recorded and met daily
- Following all Nursery policies and procedures

**Qualifications, person specification and experience**
- Qualifications desirable but not essential
- Experience of cooking in a Nursery is essential
- Passionate about cooking and enthusiasm for working for children is essential

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
