**SDL Biomass offers a unique and comprehensive service in the production and supply of renewable energy across the UK. The material created from our forestry, arboricultural and site clearance operations is used in our biomass facility, which not only puts energy back into the grid, but also generates the heat and energy needed to produce BSL, Woodsure, ENplus®A1 accredited fuel wood made from local sawmill by-products. Distributed with our in-house HGV fleet, these wood pellets fuel houses, and businesses across the country.**

Title: Wood Pellet Delivery Driver

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Wood Pellet Delivery Driver to join our team. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting wood pellets to customers. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate delivery records and ensuring excellent customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely transport wood pellets to customers in a timely manner
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery records and invoices
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Ensure proper handling of wood pellets during loading and unloading
- Communicate effectively with the office and customers
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physically fit as the role involves connecting and disconnecting pipe work
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred qualifications:

- Previous experience delivering wood pellets or similar products with a blower lorry
- Experience driving large commercial vehicles
- Up to date CPC
- Class 1 license
