**About the Opportunity**

Victoria Production Engineering are recruiting for a CNC lathe setter/operator based at our bespoke Manufacturing facility in Denton. As a CNC setter/operator you will be responsible for manufacturing close tolerance aerospace and defence components to customer drawings and specifications.

**Essential Skills**
- Ability to program/set and run Mazak lathes under mínimal supervision
- An understanding of technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to use shop floor inspection equipment - Micrometre/Vernier/Thread gauges etc

**Desired Skills**
- A strong level of knowledge in inspection equipment and techniques
- Product knowledge i.e. correct tip grade selection, cutting tools, new technology

**Desired Experience**

A minimum of 3 years of programming and setting Mazak lathes with
- Y axis
- Twin spindle
