As our **Maintenance Electrician,** your role will be to maintain and strive to improve plant effectiveness and efficiencies thus minimising downtime and increasing productivity. You will work towards continuous improvement on all company plantand building services, highlighting areas of improvement, and carrying them through to completion.

**Our Maintenance Electrician will be required to**:

- Maintain and repair plant & utilities, over three sites, worth more than £45 million
- Carry out reactive maintenance on machinery supplying a fast and effective fault diagnosis
- Carry out corrective maintenance and repairs across three company sites on all critical plant, ancillary machinery and building services within strict timescales
- Monitor the condition of critical plant and machinery for predictive maintenance purposes and statutory legislation, using test and inspection instruments
- Carry out various installation projects ranging from full production machine installation down to machine circuit control modifications
- Organise and plan work arising from several sources
- Organise and plan specific projects and order materials within the department

**Experience and skills required by our Maintenance Electrician**:

- A served 4-year electrical craft apprenticeship and have practical training in installation work
- Minimum C&G qualification in the electrical profession
- Competence in inspection, testing, and commissioning, preferably with City &Guilds 2391
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge and minimum 5 years’ experience
- Capability to work on own initiative without immediate supervision
- Safety training and experience
- Up to date legislative knowledge
- Knowledge of approved codes of practice
- Paper printing knowledge and experience (preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge and experience of machine & drive controls incorporating programmable logic controllers, servo drive and parameter set-up, human/machine interfaces, machine wiring, etc
- Knowledge & experience of fault and problem analysis and repair including the use of monitoring and test equipment
- The ability to read and work with complex drawings and schematics
- Mobile elevated platform licence is preferred but can be trained on site
