We have a brand-new opportunity for a **People Team Administrator** in our head office in Wakefield (WF3 2EE)
In this exciting and fast paced role, you will provide administrative support to the People Team across Sharp UK and act as the first point of contact for any people queries.
We are looking for a highly organised and capable individual with strong administrative skills, knowledge of HR, the ability to quickly pick up new areas and work on their own initiative.
Hybrid working with a mix of office and home working
**Responsibilities**
- Completing the new starter process from start to end which includes drafting offer letters, contracts and organising induction
- Completing the leaver process including exit interviews as required
- Supporting the HR Team, including Learning & Development and Internal Communications & Engagement with administrative tasks, including notetaking, data collection, document preparation and HR reporting.
- Monitoring employee probation periods and liaising with managers to ensure the correct letters are issued.
- Monitoring the generic HR inboxes, responding to all people queries in line with team SLAs
- Updating and maintaining HR and people systems.
- Monitor any fixed term contracts ensuring renewal/terminations are managed in a timely manner.
- Supporting with payroll administration
- Drafting employee communications content
- Supporting on low-level employee relations cases, including sickness absence, probation management, and informal cases
**Experience**
- Strong administration experience, preferably in HR
- Experience of working with HR systems (particularly Cezanne HR) is desirable
- Completion or desire to complete CIPD Level 3 qualification
- Degree in HR or business-related topic is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word skills
- Proof reading ability, excellent spelling and grammar
- Experience of drafting employee communications helpful
