**Outbound Calling/ Fundraising Representative**

My client are ow looking for a telephone sales person to join their team raising funds over the phone.

**Purpose of the role**:This versatile and dynamic role is truly at the heart of my clients strategy to build long-lasting relationships with its supporters. Using your excellent telephone manner, you will seek to encourage, inform, and gainsupport for my client by phone. Whether it’s a new magazine subscription or a new Direct Debit donation, you will take people further on their journey of engaging with my clients information and help. You will also receive incoming calls during set times andwill join the friendly Telemarketing team with daily meetings to stay connected and supported even though the team is physically apart.

**Key Tasks**

Follow a Call Guide for each conversation, which outlines the approach you should take. This guide will include a few key phrases to read, but otherwise, you will be able to use your own words and have a natural conversation.

You will seek to progress someone’s giving journey. For example, you may ask for a Direct Debit from someone who has only given one-off gifts previously or ask if someone can increase or reinstate a Direct Debit.

You will speak to people who showed an interest in magazines to gain a subscription or those whose subscription is lapsing to renew.

On the call you will use time-sensitive offers and record the reason someone doesn’t subscribe.

You will be trusted to securely add, update, and maintain financial details onto a database, in accordance with data protection requirements.

During set times you will receive incoming donation calls as supporters respond to appeals for gifts on the radio.

Use a hands-free click-to-dial system to make outbound phone calls to people who love my clients service.

You will ensure contact information is accurate and capture corrections and new information, so we can better serve people.

You will update contact preferences and make sure my client have permission to contact people through as many channels as possible.

You will work towards and achieve Key Performance Indicators for your calls as agreed with the line manager.

You will have a clear, professional, and positive telephone manner ensuring everyone is spoken to with respect and patience; queries are answered accurately and honestly in line with my clients values.

Experience in telemarketing or Fundraising is not essential but would be an advantage.

Team working experience.

Proven administration, multi-tasking, and prioritising skills.

IT literacy in Microsoft Office.

Self-motivated, proactive, and flexible.

Willingness to learn and adapt to changes.

Friendly personality with a high level of commitment and dedication.

Good at building relationships and reporting quickly.

Energetic and can work in a busy, high-pressured environment.

Annual salary and working hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 10:00am-6:00pm* Tuesday & Thursday: 12:00pm-8:00pm
- Saturdays (2 per month) 9:00am-3:30pm* *Hours displayed are typical but will vary for business needs Salary £21,411 per annum
