**What the Job Involves**:

- Deputise for the Development Control Team Leader during their absence.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for Council Committees and handle matters under delegated powers.
- Prepare and present evidence at appeals and public inquiries.
- Assist and support Technical Assistants, contributing to team target achievement and providing training where necessary.
- Respond to enquiries and complaints under guidance and represent the Service at meetings with other entities.
- Support Council initiatives, including work on the Local Plan.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, data protection, and information security policies.
