Our client is now seeking to find a Director of ESG to join theirhighly collaborative and entrepreneurial teams within their Strategic Communications division. You will have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from top experts in your field on high-profile engagements that impact history. **The Role** **Responsibilities** Beyond client engagements, you will have the opportunity to contribute to and engage with internal and external initiatives that they deliver as part of their business consultancy offer to clients. While our client is a respected global consultancy, it is also entrepreneurial and evolving. This role will suit someone who has established a high level of ESG expertise and now wants to stretch themselves within a wider consultancy model. Their skillswill provide the essential foundation in the organisation as they take on a new and dynamic challenge. The role reports directly to the Managing Director of Sustainability. **Requirements**: - 6-10+ years working in ESG strategy and consultancy bringing a strong working knowledge of major ESG frameworks. - Strong academic credentials to degree level; sustainability/ESG or related qualifications welcome. - Proven expertise in making successful and impactful recommendations to a range of large clients. - Track record of managing and delivering complex ESG assignments. - Experience in taking part in business development assignments. - A "leader-coach" who can deliver strategy and insights and will also be hands-on with client delivery. **Location: London.** **Salary: DOE** **About us** Climate17 are recruitment specialists across Clean Energy & Sustainability markets.
