**Position Summary**

**Role Summary**

As a Master Production Scheduler at Parker Meggitt, you’ll act in a key operations role with the primary objective of balancing supply and demand in order to maximise our customer on-time delivery, whilst controlling and maximising inventory. You will create and maintain demand profiles and production schedules to meet customer expectations and to achieve the revenue, gross, margin and inventory targets for our Fareham site.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Creating and maintaining the master production schedule (MPS)
- Maintaining forecast demand in line with customer requirements and buffer stock requirements
- Creating work-to lists for the shop floor
- Creating and maintaining lines of balance
- Maintaining serial number records, created serial number ranges and allocate
- Approving and maintaining all material master data related to planning
- Maintaining the plan for every part (PFEP) database and making recommendations for improvements to replenishment strategies, lot rules and batching periods
- Driving and contributing to the continuous improvements of the SIOP process on site
- Maintaining load and capacity charts and communicate requirements to manufacturing operations
- Reviewing and measuring OTD to customer and to MPS
- Reviewing revenue and gross margin projections

**Skills, Knowledge & Abilities**

**Essential**
- Full understanding of how MRP operates (supply and demand)
- Understanding impact of lot rules on MRP behaviour
- Basic understanding of runner, repeater, stranger classifications
- Knowledge of make to stock (MTS), make to forecast (MTF) and make to order (MTO) planning strategies
- Basic understanding of pull systems, kanban and other replenishment strategies
- Basic knowledge of plan for every part (PFEP) principles
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel for creation of reporting
- Confidence to be able to present information to key internal stakeholder (and on occasion our customers)

**Desirable**
- VBA programming experience
- Knowledge of SAP
