**Great opportunity for a Marketing Account Director to join a growing and ambitious, award-winning Marketing and PR company, on either a full-time or part-time basis to lead the digital marketing.**
An astute professional with experience of managing teams and juggling multiple accounts, motivated to get the best results for clients, you will be key in devising and delivering marketing and PR strategies for clients across a diverse range of sectors andsizes. You will also play a central role in developing the agency, retaining existing clients, identifying new areas for growth and winning new work. This will suit a quick strategic thinker, with exceptional leadership, planning and interpersonal skills,creative flair and a keen eye for detail. A proven track record of nurturing effective client relationships, managing budgets and projects and developing staff preferred.
**Key responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Director, the Account Director will be responsible for managing and directing the account teams, and the supervision and growth of individuals. Your main duties will be to manage the profitability, direction and growth and client liaisonof each account within the team.
**Other responsibilities include**:
- Develop and maintain solid client relationships at senior levels.
- Be an advocate and super user of internal platforms and processes, proactively improving and evolving these to enhance efficiency, client relations and commercials.
- Plan and organise resource and support across accounts.
- Ensure the highest level of service and outputs is consistently delivered from in-house staff and freelancers/sub-contractors.
- Provide account plans and regular SWOT to help identify and develop growth opportunities.
- Monitor and report campaign performance and development of future strategies.
- Financial budgeting and control of aligned budgets, income status and forecast.
- Manage your team at all times, including recruitment, assessment, encouragement and development.
**What we are looking for**:
- Ideal person will have relevant experience as a Marketing Account Director (or be an experienced Account Manager looking to move up).
- Self-motivated, team player with excellent communication skills, who enjoys shaping a business and being a part of business planning.
- Ability to plan and strategise at a senior level, including offering nimble, lean solutions for B2B and B2C SMEs.
- You must have significant experience in professional client relationship management.
- Able to pitch and win new business.
- Leading by example, you will understand management and be able to develop and nurture talent creating a collaborative, supportive and positive culture, to optimise potential.
- Demonstrable expertise in devising and leading a wide range of mar-comms strategies that deliver measurable results for clients, including experience of briefing and managing creative is advantageous as well as a strong background in digital marketing tocomplement the expertise of our Head of PR and bolster the digital side of the business.
