We are looking for an experienced band 6 play specialist team leader, looking to join a friendly dyanmic team
We are a large NHS Foundation Trust split between 3 sites in Basildon, Southend and Chelmsford (Broomfield), that cares for the health needs of a large number of service users in a versatile community.
We are looking for a passionate Play Specialist to join our team as the Play Team Leader across the 3 sites of our trust.
If successful, you will lead a large team of play specialists and play assistants to deliver excellent levels of care and support within the paediatric departments.
You will need to have good leadership skills and have a desire to develop the service further to meet the needs of the patients and families that we care for.
You will need to work closely with the nursing, medical and anesthetic teams, so good communication is key.
Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is now one of the largest in the country, with a workforce of approximately 15,000 who serve a population of 1.2 million people.
