**Overview of role and main responsibilities**:
Develop clinical training (authoring or products) and implement delivery of training products in the most effective manner.

Develop operational training (authoring or products) and implement delivery of training products in the most effective manner

Design learning material which increases the knowledge and skill base of learners and satisfies professional standards, taking account of current trends, training and development best practice and operational requirements.

Contribute to the evaluation of clinical training and development products to produce evaluation data.

Maintain clinical skills and knowledge at an appropriate level in order to perform all aspects of the role

Respond to business needs and meet the expectations of Internal and external customers

Contribute to the identification of clinical and operational training needs annually

Review, quality assure (QA) and update clinical guidance, training and development products annually ensuring Clinical Governance standards are met

Contribute to the review, quality assurance (QA) and update of the operational mentorship as/when contractually required.

Contribute to the adherence of Clinical Governance within the company

Work within strict timelines in the development of products to meet business & customer needs.

**Essential Skills and Experience**:
NMC, GMC or HCPC registered with at least 2 years experienced across the benefits MSS/Atos deliver (Is able to work to operational proficiency standards and to demonstrate high quality standards and demonstrate competence in the IT systems)

Experience of developing training products; understanding the quality standards required in developing learning tools for learners

Ability to work independently and self-directed. Able to research and analyse clinical literature and use appropriately.

Ability to use Microsoft Office proficiently, in particular PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Up to date clinical knowledge

Excellent facilitation and communication skills with professional level use of English language

Ability to attend meetings and on occasion to lead and present

Ability to manage own time optimally and cope with high volumes of work without compromising quality or deadlines

Knowledge of training and development best practice & experience of delivering training materials to learners in the most effective way.

Professional and committed, acting as a role model for training and development

Personable and able to influence others

Understands the need for lifelong learning and shows this in personal development

Responds in a positive way to changing business needs, e.g. travelling at short notice to cover unforeseen events, developing products in short time frames to quality standards

Customer focused with a desire to add value

Appreciative of delivering the key messages in training products that are aligned with customer needs and business focus.

A positive thinker with a realistic view of what is achievable

Ability to travel flexibly to meet business requirements

**Hours of work**: 3 days per week (temporary cover)
