**Location: Shrewsbury, SY1 area**
**Hours of work: Full time, 5 days over 7 with shared on call rota**
**Salary: Circa £24000**
In partnership with a professional, forward thinking, and established provider of care and housing, I am seeking a skilled and experienced team leader to join the management team at their Shrewsbury based extra care service.
You will provide high quality care and support for older adults with their own tenancies in this new build, extra care setting. This is a varied and rewarding role, for someone who wants to join an organisation who invests equally in their staff and the peoplethey support.
Employed on a full-time basis, working 5 days over 7, you will be responsible for all elements of:

- Care and support planning
- Shift leading
- Medication and personal care
- Delivering, supervising, and facilitating the delivery of care packages
- Administering medication
- Community and activity planning/involvement
- Liaising with external agencies and families
- Auditing, recruitment, and report writing
- Sharing the on-call rota
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is seeking to step up from a team leader or senior support worker role, and who has demonstrable experience in residential care for older adults. You will also have knowledge and experience of dementia care andsupport and be extremely passionate about making a difference to the lives of the people you support.
NVQ level 3 in health and social care or equivalent and flexibility to share the on-call rota is essential.
Due to the locality, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required.
If successful, you will receive a salary circa £24000, enhanced annual leave allowance and an excellent training package. You will also have access to a range of health and well-being benefits and the opportunity to truly progress within the care field.
