An Interior Fit Out contractor who work in the commercial office space and also work in the Laboratory and Pharma sectors are actively on the market seeking a Technical Services Co-Ordinator who is proficient with CAD to support with the co-ordination of mechanical installation on commercial fit out projects.

They are industry leaders in their niche with an excellent management team with proven experience and an exceptional client retention rate, winning repeat work off their clients going for strength to strength and are growing organically thus the active requirement.

Job Purpose:
Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate technical services related to commercial fit-out and laboratory fit-out projects, with a focus on mechanical systems.
- Develop CAD drawings and maintain technical specifications, installation standards, commissioning requirements, and quality control guidelines.
- Liaise with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure the smooth delivery of technical services.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of mechanical systems installation, testing, commissioning and validation activities.
- Ensure that all technical services delivered are compliant with building regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks related to mechanical systems, and develop mitigation plans as necessary.
- Liaise with subcontractors and vendors to ensure that all technical services meet project requirements and timelines.
- Provide technical support to project teams on mechanical systems-related issues.

Qualifications:

- A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical services coordination in the commercial fit-out sector, with a focus on mechanical systems.
- Proficient in using CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, industry standards, and mechanical systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent project coordination skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
- The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Working Conditions:

- This position may require evening and weekend work and occasional travel.
- A full driving license.
- May be required to work at the job site.
