**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Manage inventory using a warehouse management system
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining an orderly warehouse environment
- Perform picking and packing of orders accurately for shipping
- Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring timely processing of shipments
- Conduct shipping and receiving tasks, verifying that all items are accounted for
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse
- Utilise mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance of equipment as needed

**Experience**
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Familiarity with materials handling procedures and best practices
- Experience with stocking, picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes
- Knowledge of SAP or similar inventory management systems is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, with a focus on safety
- Background in construction or mechanical fields is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
