**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist chefs and cooks in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including chopping vegetables and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Help with food storage, ensuring proper labelling and rotation of stock.
- Support the culinary team during service by preparing garnishes and assisting with plating as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a hygienic work environment at all times.
- Participate in inventory management by reporting low stock levels to supervisors.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is advantageous but not essential.
- A passion for hospitality and a keen interest in culinary arts.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the kitchen schedule.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £22,880.00-£34,195.81 per year
