- Sew garments with accuracy and meticulous attention to detail, adhering to design specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the design team to ensure seamless coordination and meet production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace and take proper care of sewing equipment.
- Uphold strict quality control measures to deliver flawless products to our discerning clientele.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sewing Machinist, with a proven track record of consistently producing high-quality garments.
- Exceptional sewing and stretch bias binding skills and operating industrial sewing machines. We use brand new Juki and Jack industrial machines.
- Keen eye for accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work with natural fibres and a good understanding of their unique properties.
- Interest in UK manufacturing practices and a commitment to sustainable and ethical production methods.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Be present at fit sessions so, therefore, must be OK with dogs.
Selection Process:
Location: Forest Hill, London, United Kingdom. The studio is 10mins walk from the overground station.
Type of Employment: Part-time, 1 - 2 days per week.
Pay is per piece or an hourly rate based on quantity produced. Remuneration rate will be discussed during the interview process.
