StokeonTrent, United Kingdom North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust Full time

There is an exciting opportunity to work as a Nursing Associate within the High Volume Users Team. Are you self-driven, goal focused and adopt a holistic approach to care? If so, then this is the role for you.

The High Volume Users Team support service users who frequently attend our local A&E department. Our goal is to get most, if not all their care needs met in Primary Services.

This not only reduces the need for our Service Users attend A&E but also helps reduce waiting times, taking pressures off our A&E department and West Midlands Ambulance Service.

You would be expected to liaise with other agencies such as GP Practices, Staffordshire Police, Social Care and Charity groups along with our own local Mental Health Services.

The High Volume Users Team consists of Support Time Recovery (STR) Workers, Nurses and Social Workers. We are also proud to work in partnership with the British Red Cross who employ a Service Coordinator and a Support Worker who also work withing the High Volume Users Team full time. We are excited to develop a new role by introducing a Nursing Associate to work alongside our registered practitioners.

You will be supported by the registered staff to manager your own caseload.
