An exciting opportunity has arisen, we are looking to increase our team at the Vale Resort and are currently recruiting for an Events Assistant.

**Salary**:£12.35 per hour
**Contract**:Full time, permanent
**Location**:Vale Resort

The Vale Resort is a premier 4-star resort offering far more than your luxury hotel. With 143 bedrooms, our resort also has 2 championship golf courses, Wales’s largest spa, an award-winning restaurant, and exceptional sporting facilities - making us one of the UK’s most desirable hospitality workplaces.

In recent years the expansion of our Resort includes Hensol Castle, transformed into a luxury and unique wedding and events venue. Recent renovation of the Grade I listed Castle has now opened 20 luxury bedrooms along with our award-winning Distillery, gin school and visitor attraction tucked away in the cellar.

**About the Role**:
Working as part of the **Events team**you will provide exceptional service to our guests, exceeding expectations, along with:

- Ensure all events are set up in line with the function sheets.
- Approach and acknowledge all guests, always ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Awareness of menus, wine list and banqueting etiquette.
- Maintain stock supplies throughout the functions.

**About you**:

- You'll have excellent customer service skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and an understanding of allergens is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Committed to working as a team
