Youth Justice Case Worker | £32.21P/H | Kingston upon Thames

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable individual who is passionate about providing excellent youth support and the delivery of clean safe care.

This is a contract position, with the potential of becoming a permanent member of staff, making this a particularly exciting opportunity for applicants.

This would be at Kingston upon Thames on a shift pattern.

The shifts are 9-5, working full time hours every week. They must have experience with adolescents aged 12 -17 yrs with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties.

To work with colleagues to deliver a multi-agency intensive support service for children looked after and those on the edge of care. The service includes provision of planned and emergency residential and foster placements, out of hours and planned outreachservice, activity services and bespoke placement arrangements. Workers may work directly with young people in one or any of these settings through a mixture of individual and group interventions specifically with children and young people with complex anddemanding needs. The role will ensure that outcomes for children and young people are positive and that children and young people are able to move to or remain within a family unit (including birth family or other family placement) or into independence whereit is safe to do so.
