**Senior Bid Writer - Work from Home**

**The Role**:
As the leading Training Provider in the UK, we are looking for a talented Senior Bid Writer to start our bid writing team. This role will involve working closely with the Head of Sales and Business
Development and both the Corporate and Public Sector Sales Manager. You will manage the writing of compelling bids to win new business and retain business, accessing knowledge resources and the range of previous bids, to ensure consistent high-quality responses.

You will be:

- Writing compelling, winning bids independently, with the guidance of the Sales

Managers, drawing on a record of accomplishment of producing high quality consistent bid responses, reflecting the company style.
- Analyse client requirements including compliance and scoring.
- Help to identify win themes and storyboarding to shape the content of responses.
- Access knowledge resources and input from SLT, Quality, Finance and Operations team members, to create responses to specific client questions, backed up with evidence and case studies.
- Champion the importance of writing excellent, compelling bid submissions across the organisation, including influencing key stakeholders where required to ensure that the standards of our proposals remain best in class.
- Working collaborative to provide editorial support to other bid writers.
- Support final bid production process.
- Remaining up-to-date with the strengths of our competitors to ensure that our written bids and proposed solutions are responsive to clients’ requirements, market leading, innovative and successful.
- Manage and sustain resource library.
- Manage and sustain bid library.

**Skills and experience required**:

- Degree or equivalent qualification in, e.g. English Literature/Language.
- Demonstrable record of accomplishment of writing winning bids.
- Literacy in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Flexible, calm under pressure and takes ownership.
- Solid understanding of contract structures and experience developing solutions tailored to client needs through ideas, initiatives and new approaches
- Thorough in approach, diligent, with keen attention to detail.
- Deadline and process oriented.
- Well organised with the capacity to take on large volume of tasks.
- Commitment to see job through from start to finish.
- Willingness to tap into wider business knowledge and experience through networking.
- Team player, keen to help others to achieve.
- Experience of winning bids in the Professional Training sector desirable
