We are looking for a Principal Planning Officer to join the team on the basis of a 6 month secondment.

We have an ambitious growth agenda with some significant projects to deliver including large scale residential schemes and urban extensions, key employment sites including enterprise zones, and an emerging local plan for Greater Norwich to deliver against.

This is a unique opportunity to work within a team and help shape, influence and be at the forefront of creating high quality places and sustainable new communities.

**Principal Planning Officer**:

- To facilitate and encourage the delivery of the growth of the district as set out in the planning policies and ensure the growth meets all councils’ policy and aims and objectives.

Essential Requirements:

- Qualified to degree level in planning or related discipline.
- Chartered Membership of the RTPI or within 1 year chartered membership.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Significant and demonstrable post qualification experience in planning and ability to either demonstrate significant experience in Development

Management or transferable skills
