One-to-one Learning Support Assistant

We have an opportunity to recruit a one-to-one Learning Support Assistant for a pupil with special educational needs. We are looking for a friendly, efficient, highly organised and enthusiastic person to join our team as a learning support assistant. A calm personality and ability to make tasks inspiring would be an advantage as well as being open minded about potential for achievement and progress.
The role includes 30 minutes per day of supporting the pupil’s play during lunchtime as a Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA).
You will have an enthusiastic, attentive and patient manner with pupils, and you must be able to work under the direction of our teachers and SENCo and strive for the highest standards. Confidentiality is a must, as is a high level of numeracy and literacy.
You will be highly organised, comfortable working with children and have the ability to inspire young minds.
Previous experience of working with children would be an advantage as would some knowledge of Special Educational Needs.
