We have an exciting opportunity available to support the existing team in the ongoing development of the community team and the delivery of excellent care to our patients.Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit an apprenticeship Healthcare Assistant role to the community team based at Malton Community Hospital. As a Trust, we see the value in supporting the development and progression of our people through apprenticeship pathways, combining vocational learning with on the job experience. You will undertake a Level 3 Healthcare Assistant apprenticeship whilst you work closely with your new team to gain the essential skills, knowledge and behaviours for this new role. The duration of this apprenticeship will be 15 months and on successful completion you will progress into the permanent role of Band 3 Healthcare Assistant.The community team manages mainly older adults with a home first approach. Effective and efficient patient flow is essential. We strive to achieve excellent nursing and therapy care with compassion, and promote positive patient experiences and outcomes.The remuneration for this role is National Apprenticeship salary and will be paid at Band 2. On completion of the apprenticeship, the post holder will be paid a Band 3 salary.Apprentices will develop through on the job learning and will spend 20% of their weekly hours in off the job learning.
