We are looking to add a Stores Assistant (Driver) to our ever-growing team, with an immediate start.

**Stores Assistant - The Role**:
You will assist in booking goods in an out of stores along with the preparation of shipments. In addition to this you will:

- Collect and deliver equipment from customers and suppliers
- Book goods in and out and to prepare goods for shipping as required
- Undertake regular stock takes and update the stock records.
- Undertake collections and deliveries of goods from customers and suppliers
- Prepare delivery schedules and plan routes efficiently
- Ensure collections and deliveries are made on time
- Be responsible for the company vehicle used for collection and deliveries. Make sure it is clean, fuelled and maintained in a safe condition at all times
- Demonstrate flexibility (Working outside of normal working hours will be required on occasion and overtime paid where this is the case)
- Be professional at all times, through dress and behaviour, etc
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Work as part of a team and to show initiative and flexibility when required
- Adhere to health and safety requirements and wear personal protective equipment as required
- Undertake all relevant training as required
- Provide any other duties associated with the post

**Stores Assistant - What we need from you**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is keen to progress with the company.

**Essential**:

- Full driving licence
- Demonstrable IT experience including Microsoft Office
- A good geographical knowledge of the Midlands and North West
- Previous experience working to deadlines
- Be able to work under their own supervision and to challenging deadlines
- Be fully flexible and willing to work outside of normal hours on occasion (overtime will be paid in this case)
- Be confident with an outgoing and professional manner

**Desirable**:
Educated to standard grade level (GCSE or equivalent)

**It would be great if you had previous experience in the following**: Warehouse, Warehousing, Store person, Stores, Manufacturing, Driver, Driving, Delivery Driver, Transport, Logistics
